FAQs : how to start A SLOW fashion brand
Starting your slow fashion brand?
Building a new, fair and sustainable collection?
Planning to release a new product?
Still orienting on products or fabrics and needing advice?
Personal contact is what we expect with (starting) our own brand or company. This is therefore, naturally, also a part of our production process. How we do that, is described below in 7 steps.
Are you ready to start your brand?
It’s your brand, and you want solutions that work for you. Let us help you get back to doing more of what you love, without the stress.
-
The first step is about sharpening your idea.
You have an idea, sketch, design or sample of what you want to produce. We help you to change your brainchild into an actual product.
Feel free to reach out to us to get the process started. -
After that, we will look for you if we can find the (sustainable) fabrics you are looking for and if we can make what you want. The search will end in you receiving fabric samples and / or an advice towards you.
These first two steps are closely interlinked and might go back and forward, until you have your desired product.
-
Based on your ideas, the fabric you choose and our advice towards you, we can make you a quotation.
In this quotation we include the offer for making samples and the production. -
Your confirmation is then accompanied by your deposit.
-
The fifth step is the sampling process. Based on our agreement with you, we make the design (if needed), samples and a tech pack.
This step in the manufacturing process usually takes the longest, because the samples might have to go back and forward several times.
If you already made your own design, samples and /or tech pack, we only make the sales man samples according to the information you give us. -
After you agree with the samples, we will get into the production phase.
This means we are preparing the products for your customers! -
At last, we will send your products according to your wishes (labels, hangtags and packaging can all be included).
The full payment will be made before sending the products. You will then be responsible for the import (costs).
